Lockwood, a medical communications agency, is seeking a Freelance Senior Scientific Director to plan, develop, and oversee scientific content for assigned accounts. The role involves leading client interactions, brand strategy, and the scientific portion of brand planning and business development. The Senior Scientific Director will also manage resource allocation, partner with client services to develop SOWs and timelines, and identify areas for new and organic growth.

Responsibilities include:

Requirements:

• Advanced degree in science
• 10+ years of relevant experience with promotional medical education content
• Demonstrated organizational, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to analyze and interpret scientific data
• Ability to multitask, work independently, and manage projects within tight deadlines
• Experience with established professional medical editorial processes (eg, AMA style) and ethical guidelines
• Experience with psychiatry - specifically schizophrenia, bipolar disorder (BP), and/or major depressive disorder (MDD)
