Senior DevOps Engineer

MOOVX is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their team. The candidate will focus on automation and repeatable provisioning, working with development teams to introduce best practices. This role involves leading release planning, collaborating on deployment plans, and managing deployments.

Responsibilities:

• Participate and help lead release planning efforts.
• Collaborate with Digital Producers to outline deployment plans.
• Manage deployments for routine fixes and or updates to applications.
• Implement, manage and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines.
• Update and help improve build and deployment processes.
• Understand the infrastructure needs of stakeholders.
• Translate these needs into technical requirements and related architecture.
• Provisioning new infrastructure needed for incoming projects.
• Assist in building and maintaining highly available systems.
• Provide technical support related to hosted environments.
• Perform root cause analysis for production errors.
• Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes.
• Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Experience in AWS (EC2, Amplify, S3, Cloudfront, ACM, ELB/ALB, VPC, RDS, SQS, Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, Cost explorer).
• Experience in Jenkins, GIT, Docker, Gulp, NPM, Yarn.
• Linux server administration skills.
• Knowledge of network engineering and web protocols.
• Experience with production system monitoring tools.
• Proficiency in NodeJs, Python, and Bash.
• Understanding of cybersecurity best practices.
