Job Description
Rent the Runway is seeking a digitally fluent and community-obsessed Digital Community Coordinator to manage and scale its loyal audiences across ambassador programs, digital platforms, and IRL events. This temporary, full-time role, based in Brooklyn, NY, runs until August 15. The Digital Community Coordinator will play a key role in building relationships, managing day-to-day operations, and keeping members engaged. Responsibilities include:
  • Managing communities on Instagram and other platforms
  • Planning and scheduling digital content
  • Writing engaging community posts
  • Monitoring community sentiment
  • Building relationships with ambassadors and members
  • Identifying and vetting local influencers
  • Coordinating member onboarding
  • Tracking program signups and deliverables
  • Collecting and synthesizing feedback
  • Tracking timelines and program components
  • Coordinating with vendors
  • Supporting the creation of SOPs
  • Updating tracking documents and reporting
  • Supporting pilot programs
Requirements:
  • 1–2 years of experience in community management, influencer/ambassador programs, or social media
  • Deep understanding of digital culture
  • Ability to implement hyperlocal trends
  • Willingness to work some nights/weekends
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Highly organized and proactive
