Job Description
Blackbird Health is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join their team in Doylestown, PA. The therapist will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to young patients and their families. Blackbird Health is transforming how pediatric mental health is assessed and treated, making world-class care available in local communities. They offer virtual and in-person mental health services across Pennsylvania and Virginia, with plans to expand.
The role involves:
- Providing evidence-based psychotherapy services.
- Evaluating new clients through biopsychosocial/diagnostic assessments.
- Establishing positive, trusting rapport with patients.
- Collaborating with other specialty providers to establish an Integrated Treatment Plan.
- Conducting ongoing assessments of patient progress and maintaining thorough records.
- Involving and advising family members or outside specialists when appropriate.
Requirements:
- Flexibility to work a minimum of 15 hours per week during after-school hours (after 4pm ET) or weekends.
- Active licensure in Pennsylvania as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
