Staff SW Engineer, Lending

Job Description

Pismo is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join their Lending team in India. The Lending team is responsible for developing a global Lending platform with the goal of creating the best Lending platform in the global market. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java development and AWS services, with a focus on building scalable and resilient systems.

What this role involves:

• Development and maintenance of projects in Java using AWS services.
• Participation in technical analysis with product team requirements.
• Execution of Terraform to create/remove new resources on AWS.
• Monitoring applications through logs/metrics using Grafana.
• Database optimization, mainly DynamoDB.
• Help in the collective decisions about our architecture.
• Understand and build micro-service and event-driven architecture, and how to solve distributed transaction problems.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of development experience, with the majority of that time with Java.
• Expert experience with AWS (certification is mandatory).
• Experience in designing architectural solutions.
• Has worked on Event-driven architecture.
• Exposure with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Carried out testing (unit, integration, load).
