Job Description
Workato is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join their team in Barcelona. The Senior Frontend Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing complex UI for a modern integration platform using advanced JavaScript, HTML, and CSS technologies. They will collaborate with product, design, and back-end teams to build innovative features.Role involves:- Building efficient and reusable front-end components
- Collaborating with Product Managers and Experience Designers
- Identifying and resolving performance issues
- Solving coding and architecture problems
- Taking ownership of projects or features
- Contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle
- 5+ years of experience in front-end focused Software Development
- A degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Strong experience with Angular (or similar framework)
- Advanced knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
- Experience building responsive web interfaces
- Good understanding of browsers and DOM
- Familiarity with web security, SEO, and accessibility
- Knowledge of QA automation processes and tools
- Experience with TypeScript, or a desire to learn
- Fluency with the Unix command line interface
