Backend Software Engineer - AI Experience

Job Description

Addepar is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to join their team in Pune, India. The engineer will be responsible for delivering groundbreaking software solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and building intuitive solutions that transform how clients experience AI and ML. This role involves elevating client interaction with financial data.What this role involves:

• Designing and delivering secure, event-driven AI applications powered by LLMs.
• Implementing and maintaining engineering solutions through well-designed, testable code.
• Building scalable and resilient systems with a focus on safety, privacy, and real-time performance.
• Documenting software functionality, system design, and project plans.
• Collaborating across Addepar with product teams and stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Proficiency with Python, Java, or similar languages.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud deployment.
• Experience with streaming data platforms and event-driven architecture.
• Ability to write software to process and aggregate large amounts of data efficiently.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with collaborators on a technical level.
• A strong ownership mentality.
• Knowledge of front-end development is a plus.
