Job Description
Veeam, a market leader in data resilience, is seeking a Channel Manager to manage the SHI partnership in the Western US. This role focuses on aligning, enabling, and driving performance within the partnership to promote Veeam's technology to end customers. The Channel Manager will understand Veeam’s go-to-market strategy and identify synergies with SHI for growth opportunities. Preference is given to candidates based in Southern CA, Phoenix, Seattle, or Denver.
Responsibilities: - Managing relationships in a matrixed environment.
- Reinforcing sales & technical knowledge of the partner.
- Building and maintaining relationships with key roles within the partner account.
- Creating annual and quarterly business plans with SHI West.
- Developing, negotiating, and tracking joint Action Plans.
- Developing and assisting in managing SHI’s Veeam pipeline.
- Keeping SHI informed on Veeam news and promotions.
- Providing support to SHI, including licensing and technical issues.
- Providing support to qualified prospects and customers.
- Providing forecasting and account opportunity as needed.
- Maintaining SHI region specific data in Salesforce.com.
- Traveling up to 75% within the assigned region.
Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- Sales experience with or through Channel Partner ecosystems.
- Sales experience in backup, cloud, data center industries.
- Ability to pick up new technology concepts.
- Analytical thinker with proven ability to metric and govern.
- Experience with Veeam Alliance Partners.
- Adaptability to changes in roles and responsibilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of virtualization industry.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
