Job Description

Veeam, the leading provider of data resilience solutions, is seeking a (Senior) Systems Engineer to join their team in Germany. This role involves working closely with sales to promote Veeam's product offerings to partners, resellers, and end-users. The Systems Engineer will play a crucial role in helping customers understand and implement Veeam's solutions.

The (Senior) Systems Engineer will be responsible for:

• Conducting presentations and demonstrations at live and virtual customer meetings
• Implementing and managing Proof of Concepts (POCs)
• Supporting lead generation activities such as events, webinars, and user groups
• Collaborating with customers to define business goals and translate them into technical requirements
• Providing technical expertise on data protection
• Collaborating with sales to acquire new partners and customers
• Working closely with product management to gather customer feedback
• Assisting customers with the evaluation of Veeam software

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Experience in solution sales and/or technical pre-sales
• Industry experience with data protection technologies
• Experience in storage, networking, and/or cloud technologies
• Experience with monitoring tools and frameworks
• Experience with virtualization technologies
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills in English and German
