Director, Corporate Communications

Job Description

Veeam, the leading data resilience provider, is seeking a Director of Corporate Communications to lead its communications function in Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ). This role involves driving communications programs, including Public Relations (PR), analyst relations (AR), and executive communications across the region. The successful candidate will collaborate with executives, marketing teams, and PR agency partners to create impactful communications campaigns.Responsibilities:

• Spearhead the APJ communications strategy.
• Oversee influencer activities and analyst relations.
• Manage a network of PR agencies.
• Advance the positioning program for regional executives.
• Manage budget and ensure a strong return from PR activities.
• Develop and support external messaging on Veeam’s technology and solutions.
• Liaise with Veeam’s partner ecosystem.
• Drive special communication projects.
• Collaborate on customer reference programs.
• Support strategic internal communications.
• Drive high-stakes and special projects, including M&A and crisis management.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 10 years in communications or marketing communications experience.
• Proven experience within PR, AR, and other communications disciplines in the B2B technology industry.
• Proven track record of developing successful programs and thought leadership initiatives.
• Experience in leading an international team.
• Ability to manage a network of PR agencies and third-party vendors.
• Knowledge of key industry and business media across APJ.
• Proficient English language speaker and writer.
