Whalar, a leading independent Creator and Social agency, is seeking an Associate Director, Client Services. This role is based in either New York, NY, or Los Angeles, CA. The Client Services team is responsible for the creative output of campaigns and programs, overseeing client relationships, budgets, and timelines. They act as a central resource, bringing in the right expertise and facilitating client retention through excellent service and quality creative output.Responsibilities:
  • Act as a senior liaison with clients, creators, and cross-functional teams.
  • Manage the team's day-to-day tasks and campaign delivery.
  • Mentor, train, and develop team members.
  • Deliver campaigns across social media platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
  • Maintain project workflow tools and templates.
  • Assist in creator negotiations and manage contracts.
  • Track budgets and financial spends.
  • Build campaign wrap reports.
  • Stay updated on social media trends.
  • Support new business pitches.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years’ agency or brand experience, including team management.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid understanding of the creator economy and social media advertising.
  • Appreciation for top-quality creativity.
  • Problem-solving mindset and proactive attitude.
  • Experience with gaming brands and creators is a plus.
  • Proven track record of successful program delivery and account growth.
  • Great management skills and leadership abilities.
