Moniepoint Inc. is seeking a Regulatory Compliance specialist to ensure compliance-related risks are mitigated across its products and services. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders, conducting due diligence, and maintaining compliance with regulations.

Role involves:
  • Serving as the primary Compliance representative for Product development and enhancement.
  • Maintaining knowledge of products and services within the payments industry.
  • Conducting customer due diligence (CDD) and enhanced due diligence (EDD).
  • Developing, maintaining, and enforcing KYC, CDD, and regulatory compliance policies and procedures.
  • Conducting quarterly training sessions for product teams on compliance issues.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the payment industry or banking.
  • Experience with compliance requirements and either liaising with Product, or direct experience in product development, preferred.
  • Experience with writing actionable product requirements documents is a must.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions.
  • Experience with an array of compliance-related systems.
