Job Description
Tripadvisor is seeking a Principal Content Analyst to join their Trust and Safety team in London. This role is hybrid, requiring one day per week in the office. The Principal Content Analyst will leverage advanced analytics to oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of complex datasets related to user-generated content moderation. They will develop innovative methodologies to measure the impact of moderation decisions, produce critical reports and dashboards, and guide the team toward strategic KPIs.
What this role involves:
- Conducting in-depth analysis of UGC moderation data.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Championing a data-driven culture.
- Developing and implementing new methodologies to measure the impact of moderation decisions.
- Generating and maintaining reports, dashboards, and data pipelines.
- Setting and tracking strategic KPIs for the content moderation team.
- Spearheading the creation of specialized programs addressing advanced content moderation challenges.
- Leading key initiatives that refine and optimize content moderation processes.
- Advocating for ongoing improvement and learning.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of leveraging data to drive strategic decision-making.
- 8+ years of experience in data operations, data analysis, content moderation, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of data management principles.
- Experience developing and implementing data-driven strategies.
- Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (SQL, Tableau, Python).
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate insights into actionable plans.
- Passion for innovation and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- University degree or equivalent experience required.
- Knowledge of multiple languages a plus.
