Job Description
Spaulding Ridge is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to define and oversee the architectural direction across multiple systems. The candidate will ensure seamless integration, scalability, and alignment with business goals. This role involves strategic planning and technical depth, providing guidance, enforcing best practices, and shaping the technology landscape.
Role involves:
- Defining and enforcing system architecture principles.
- Designing and overseeing integrations between systems.
- Leading and mentoring a developer team.
- Conducting architecture and code reviews.
- Collaborating with delivery teams and stakeholders.
- Establishing and maintaining best practices.
- Partnering with leadership to shape the technology roadmap.
- Providing architectural oversight on proposed changes.
- Providing high-level architectural support during critical events.
Requirements:
- 13+ years of experience in system architecture or engineering.
- 7+ years in a leadership or management role.
- Experience designing and integrating complex systems at scale.
- BS or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong knowledge of architectural patterns (microservices, event-driven, etc.).
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in enterprise environments or SaaS platforms.
- Certifications (e.g. Azure Solutions Architect Expert, TOGAF).
