The Social Hub is seeking a Host/Hostess to be the welcoming face of their Barcelona location. This role involves creating a positive first impression, managing guest flow, and ensuring a smooth dining experience. The ideal candidate is a natural connector with excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
What this role involves: - Greeting guests with a warm welcome.
- Managing reservations and handling special requests.
- Coordinating guest seating with the front-of-house and kitchen teams.
- Monitoring wait times and addressing guest needs.
- Maintaining the host stand and entrance area.
- Assisting with service tasks.
- Informing guests about menus, specials, and events.
- Sharing guest feedback with the team.
Requirements: - At least 6 months of experience in a guest-facing hospitality role.
- Experience using digital booking systems.
- A warm and polished presence.
- Clear communication skills.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Team-first attitude.
- Fluency in English; other languages are a bonus.
