The Social Hub is seeking a Host/Hostess to be the welcoming face of their Barcelona location. This role involves creating a positive first impression, managing guest flow, and ensuring a smooth dining experience. The ideal candidate is a natural connector with excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

What this role involves:
  • Greeting guests with a warm welcome.
  • Managing reservations and handling special requests.
  • Coordinating guest seating with the front-of-house and kitchen teams.
  • Monitoring wait times and addressing guest needs.
  • Maintaining the host stand and entrance area.
  • Assisting with service tasks.
  • Informing guests about menus, specials, and events.
  • Sharing guest feedback with the team.

Requirements:
  • At least 6 months of experience in a guest-facing hospitality role.
  • Experience using digital booking systems.
  • A warm and polished presence.
  • Clear communication skills.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Team-first attitude.
  • Fluency in English; other languages are a bonus.
