Clutch, Canada's largest online used car retailer, is seeking an Automotive Apprentice Technician to join their team in Etobicoke, Ontario. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring all vehicles meet Clutch's high mechanical standards, working alongside the reconditioning team.

Role Involves:

  • Performing Clutch standardized vehicle inspections (stationary and road tests).
  • Diagnosing and assessing vehicle issues and damage.
  • Making recommendations about vehicle repairs and the best course of action.
  • Performing repairs and preventative maintenance, such as oil changes, suspension, and brake jobs.
  • Creating documentation of repairs and estimates.
  • Adhering to and continually helping improve Clutch’s high mechanical standards.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of automotive technician experience.
  • Experience working with a variety of car brands (domestic, import & European).
  • Team player above all else.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands.
  • Desire to learn new skills.
  • User of technology (Google Drive, Slack etc.).
  • Valid Driver’s License and Clean Driver’s Abstract.
