Job Description
Clutch, Canada's largest online used car retailer, is seeking an Automotive Apprentice Technician to join their team in Etobicoke, Ontario. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring all vehicles meet Clutch's high mechanical standards, working alongside the reconditioning team.
Role Involves:
- Performing Clutch standardized vehicle inspections (stationary and road tests).
- Diagnosing and assessing vehicle issues and damage.
- Making recommendations about vehicle repairs and the best course of action.
- Performing repairs and preventative maintenance, such as oil changes, suspension, and brake jobs.
- Creating documentation of repairs and estimates.
- Adhering to and continually helping improve Clutch’s high mechanical standards.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of automotive technician experience.
- Experience working with a variety of car brands (domestic, import & European).
- Team player above all else.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands.
- Desire to learn new skills.
- User of technology (Google Drive, Slack etc.).
- Valid Driver’s License and Clean Driver’s Abstract.
