Legal Counsel (4-5y PQE)

Job Description

Easygo, the Australian company behind Stake, KICK and Twist Gaming, is seeking a Legal Counsel to join their team in Melbourne. The Legal Counsel will work closely with Senior Legal Counsel, providing legal support across multiple jurisdictions. This role offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of innovation, supporting Stake, the world’s largest crypto casino, and KICK, their live streaming platform, while navigating complex legal challenges and ensuring compliance in a fast-moving industry.

Role Involves:

• Assisting in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts.
• Providing legal support on corporate and commercial matters, balancing risk with business objectives.
• Working closely with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure compliance with evolving regulations.
• Supporting risk management initiatives and strategic decision-making.
• Gaining exposure to cutting-edge legal issues in global markets where regulations are still developing.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of corporate and commercial law experience, with at least 1 year in private practice.
• Strong experience in contract drafting, negotiation, and ensuring compliance with legal and business requirements.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity.
• Business acumen and the ability to provide commercially sound legal advice.
• A keen interest in innovation and the intersection of law, crypto, and gaming.
