DeVries is seeking a Junior Community Strategist to join their consumer team, focusing on media relations and account management. This position is based in their New York office and is currently remote.What this role involves:
  • Media outreach to generate coverage for brands.
  • Building media lists and writing press materials.
  • Setting year-long media strategy and fostering relationships with editors.
  • Executing editor events and press launches.
  • Ideating and executing media mailers.
  • Creating and activating "digital first" programs.
  • Executing partnerships with talent and influencers.
  • Monitoring consumer culture and surfacing relevant insights.
  • Collaborating with Business and Creative Intelligence groups.
  • Creating and managing timelines and budgets.
  • Monitoring and tracking media coverage.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
  • 2-3 years related professional experience.
  • Deep media relationships.
  • Strong writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Creatively curious and highly organized.
  • Ability to solve problems effectively.
