Job Description
Stone is seeking a Senior Credit Risk Analyst to join its Credit Risk Control team. Stone is a technology and financial services company focused on serving Brazilian entrepreneurs. The Credit Risk Control team plays a strategic role in the company's financial health and sustainable growth by managing and monitoring risk across the credit portfolio. The role is fully remote.

Responsibilities include:
  • Developing and applying methodologies to identify patterns, predict trends, and quantify risks.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory norms, such as CMN Resolution No. 4,966.
  • Optimizing data analysis and modeling.
  • Conducting complex analyses to identify risk drivers and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Monitoring credit risk indicators and anticipating trends.
  • Executing credit risk stress tests to evaluate the impact of adverse scenarios.

Requirements:
  • Knowledge of credit risk, provisioning, and the credit cycle, preferably with a focus on retail audiences.
  • Experience in modeling parameters such as PD, LGD, and EAD.
  • Proficiency in SQL or Python for manipulating and analyzing large volumes of data.
  • Familiarity with Bacen norms, especially CMN Resolution No. 4,966, and regulatory reports.
  • Fundamentals of statistics and econometrics applied to finance.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
  • Experience in conducting stress tests based on adverse economic scenarios.
