Job Description
PLOS, a non-profit organization dedicated to open science, is seeking a Marketing Executive to support the execution of its marketing strategy. This role involves campaign delivery, event coordination, and marketing operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. The Marketing Executive will collaborate cross-functionally to deliver engaging marketing initiatives that reflect the brand and values of PLOS.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the execution and coordination of marketing campaigns.
- Supporting the production of marketing assets.
- Helping coordinate webinars, sponsorships, and other marketing-led initiatives.
- Researching and booking exhibition stands for industry conferences.
- Coordinating logistics for events, including administration and promotional material.
- Liaising with conference organizers and PLOS departments.
- Tracking and managing event budgets.
- Collecting feedback and preparing post-event reports.
Requirements:
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication skills with experience liaising with stakeholders.
- Familiarity with supplier management, budgeting, and event logistics.
- Proactive and detail-oriented approach.
- Proficiency with digital tools and platforms (e.g., web CMS systems, HubSpot).
- Experience in event coordination, logistics, or similar roles.
- Experience with digital marketing and CRM platforms.
