Head of Facilities Engineering

Job Description

Science Corporation is seeking a Head of Facilities Engineering to ensure its facilities are continuously supporting research, development, and production worldwide. The ideal candidate will engage in capacity planning, design and optimize facility layout and critical operational systems, and maintain infrastructure and building equipment. This role is based in Alameda, California.Responsibilities include:

• Planning and managing a 170k+ sq ft footprint worldwide
• Ensuring all facilities’ reliability and performance
• Performing analysis of operational processes, resource allocation, energy use, and implement improvements
• Designing and overseeing the implementation of facility expansion, layout, various systems, and quality controls
• Tenant improvement planning and management
• Assessing facility resource requirements

Key requirements include:

• Previous experience as a Facilities Engineer
• Strong facilities technical background
• Eagerness to be hands on
• Project management skills
