Head of Privacy & AI Governance

Job Description

OneTrust is seeking a Head of Privacy and AI Governance to shape the future of privacy and AI governance within the company. Reporting to the Chief Business & Legal Officer, this leader will ensure compliance with global data privacy and AI regulations and set the strategic vision for protecting and responsibly using stakeholder data. This role involves acting as a thought leader and customer zero, utilizing OneTrust's solutions in real-world scenarios and sharing insights with internal and external stakeholders.Responsibilities include:

• Developing and executing a comprehensive privacy and AI governance strategy.
• Overseeing privacy and AI compliance programs, ensuring adherence to frameworks like GDPR and the EU AI Act.
• Integrating privacy-enhancing technologies into the platform.
• Leading Customer Zero feedback initiatives.
• Collaborating with teams to integrate privacy and AI ethics into operations.
• Leading responses to privacy and AI-related incidents and audits.
• Fostering a culture of ethical AI use and privacy awareness.

Requirements include:

• 12+ years of experience in privacy, data protection, or AI governance.
• Deep knowledge of global privacy laws and AI regulations.
• Experience leading privacy and AI governance programs in a SaaS, tech, or regulated industry.
• CIPP or similar certifications.
• Proven ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
