Production Supervisor

Job Description

• Coaching production team members to meet safety, quality, and productivity objectives.
• Monitoring safety occurrences and acting as a first responder.
• Verifying line safety and quality through Process Confirmation.
• Supporting Continuous Improvement and problem resolution.
• Ensuring continuous communication and recognition.
• Building Team Leader and Team Member capability.
• Basic administration of supervisory responsibilities and documents.
• Managing daily material handling functions.
• Supporting Lucid Production System and lean manufacturing practices.
• Leading and managing hourly personnel.
• Ensuring flawless introduction of new parts through proactive planning.
• Effectively implementing the Engineering Change Process.
• Identifying data gaps and taking corrective actions.
• Making timely decisions in the best interests of the organization.
• Ensuring adherence to safety standards and up-to-date documentation.
• Taking care of personal and others' health and safety.
• Ensuring fire exits and alarms are unobstructed and serviceable.
• Conducting start and end of shift briefings.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 years of direct Manufacturing supervisory experience.
• Exposure to LEAN or Six Sigma principles preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to support any shift, including day, night, and swing shifts.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as required.
• Demonstrated communication skills with all levels of management.
• Interest and aptitude in data, metrics, analysis, and trends.
• High level of integrity and ability to influence others.
• Strong self-initiative, problem-solving, decision-making, and multi-tasking skills.
