Job Description
Lucid Motors is seeking a Director of Supply Chain Strategy and Execution to lead strategies, reporting, and process excellence within the Supply Chain organization. This role is crucial for ensuring the effective operation of Direct and Indirect Procurement, as well as Supplier Industrialization teams. The Director will report status effectively to executive management.
Role involves:
- Partnering with Supply Chain organizations
- Managing Supply Chain headcount, forecasting, and initiatives
- Analyzing supply chain processes and identifying inefficiencies
- Developing special teams to solve emergency supplier exits
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders
- Monitoring and reporting on key procurement KPIs
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of Supply Chain experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership Direct Procurement role within the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of global sourcing, supplier management, contract negotiations, and automotive industry regulations.
- Proven track record of developing processes, growing teams, supply chain resilience, and supplier innovation.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with procurement software and ERP systems (SAP, Coupa, etc.).
