Job Description
Lucid Motors is seeking a Director of Supply Chain Strategy and Execution to lead strategies, reporting, and process excellence within the Supply Chain organization. This role is crucial for ensuring the effective operation of Direct and Indirect Procurement, as well as Supplier Industrialization teams. The Director will report status effectively to executive management.

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Supply Chain organizations.
  • Manage Supply Chain headcount, forecasting, and initiatives.
  • Analyze supply chain processes and identify inefficiencies.
  • Develop special teams to solve emergency supplier exits and bankruptcies.
  • Develop a problem-solving team for company-wide initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on key procurement KPIs.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of Supply Chain experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership Direct Procurement role within the automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge of global sourcing, supplier management, contract negotiations, and automotive industry regulations.
  • Proven track record of developing processes, growing teams, supply chain resilience, and supplier innovation.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with procurement software and ERP systems (SAP, Coupa, etc.).
