Sr. Global Supply Manager, Thermals

Job Description

Lucid Motors is seeking a Sr. Global Supply Manager to support Thermal Systems. This role is crucial for managing the company's business with a group of suppliers and acting as the key interface between Engineering, Finance, Logistics, Quality, and Manufacturing. The Sr. Global Supply Manager will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing the global Supply Chain, helping to establish the global supply chain strategy, supporting cross-functional teams, and driving sound business decisions throughout the product lifecycle.Role involves:

• Collaborating with Engineering and Supplier Quality to identify potential suppliers.
• Creating RFQs, reviewing quotations, and developing sourcing recommendations.
• Negotiating favorable contracts including parts pricing and tooling costs.
• Managing supplier development and tooling timelines.
• Maintaining overall supplier relationships and acting as a point of contact for commercial issues.
• Traveling 15-25% to visit suppliers.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Engineering related to Thermal & Cooling systems.
• Understanding of Thermal systems, Cooling systems, and/or Climate control.
• Experience in sourcing oil pumps, HVAC, plastics, castings, air conditioning, cooling, castings, and forgings.
• Product launch experience preferred.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Excel, Project, Power Point, Word, and ERP systems.
