Job Description
Ebury is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join their Finance - Financial Control & Reporting department in León. The role involves assisting with the oversight of Junior Financial Accountants and focusing on Santander reporting, incorporating control measures, and identifying opportunities for efficiency. Role Involves:
- Reporting various schedules and annexes to the parent company.
- Assisting and training junior financial accountants.
- Identifying opportunities for automation of reporting.
- Participating in internal subsidiary reporting.
- Supporting audit-related activities.
- Performing calculations and bookings as part of month-end close.
- Developing and maintaining complex excel spreadsheets.
- Supporting the development of a culture of ownership and accountability.
- Engaging with all functional areas across Ebury’s global operations.
Requirements:
- Finance professional with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
- IFRS knowledge is required.
- Exceptional communication skills in Spanish and English.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large amounts of data.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
