ília is seeking a PL/SR QA Engineer to join their team. ília is a technology, data, and design specialist that drives digital transformation for major market players. The PL/SR QA Engineer will be responsible for evaluating software for errors and stability issues, developing test strategies, and designing and executing automation scripts. This role involves conducting both automated and manual tests, analyzing test results, and documenting bugs. The engineer will also contribute to the design and development of continuous testing pipelines and collaborate with developers on code reviews.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate software for errors and stability issues.
  • Develop test strategies and create detailed test plans and cases.
  • Design, develop, and execute automation scripts.
  • Analyze test results and communicate findings.
  • Document bugs and monitor debugging for problem resolution.
  • Define test frameworks and assist in branching strategy.
  • Help design and develop the Continuous Integration pipeline.
  • Design and implement test data.
  • Collaborate with developers on unit test reviews.
  • Avoid repetitive testing tasks.
  • Review code to build an effective automation suite.
  • Ensure coverage and execution of various tests (Unit, Integration, Acceptance, System, Regression, UAT, Security, and Performance).
  • Improve existing test infrastructure or create new ones.
  • Ensure the system meets performance, observability, security, and functionality criteria.

Requirements:

  • Advanced English (required).
  • At least 3 years of experience as a QA Engineer or in a similar role.
  • 2-3 years of experience in test automation development (UAT, functional, performance, load, and smoke tests).
  • Experience with automated testing for APIs and web applications using Postman or equivalent tools.
  • 2 years of practical experience with git/git-flow.
  • Intermediate experience with testing tools like Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, JMeter, or similar (such as Playwright).
  • Priority for knowledge in JavaScript.
  • Practical experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Solid understanding of QA methodologies, including planning and design of strategies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related area.
