Job Description
Groupon is seeking an Automation, Web Applications & AI Engineer to join their team. This role involves creating and maintaining web applications and developing automation solutions to enhance their quality, performance, and reliability. The ideal candidate will work with Google Apps Script, N8N, and JavaScript to lead and develop automation projects.

Role Involves:
  • Leading and developing automation projects.
  • Creating automation workflows using Google Apps and N8N.
  • Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
  • Collaborating with product managers and engineers.
  • Building internal tools and reports.
  • Troubleshooting and fixing issues in applications and automation scripts.
  • Engaging in agile development practices.
  • Keeping up with the latest trends in AI, web development, and automation.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong experience in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and familiarity with Apps Script and N8N.
  • Proficiency in both relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Proven ability in developing and implementing automation scripts.
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Solid analytical skills.
  • Experience with Python, React, and TypeScript is a plus.
  • Practical experience with Git for code management and collaboration.
  • Understanding of agile methodologies and testing practices.
  • Self-driven and committed to creating high-quality, maintainable code.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to clearly articulate technical concepts.
