Director, Policy and Partnerships at NewGlobe

NewGlobe is seeking a Director of Policy & Partnerships to oversee a government-led education transformation program in Dutse, Jigawa, Nigeria. The Director will be responsible for building and managing stakeholder relationships, ensuring collaboration between the program and the government, and supporting program implementation.

The Director will act as the primary point of contact between the program, the Government, and key stakeholders. They will also ensure the government understands the program and support its implementation. This will require the coordination of stakeholder sessions, government workshops, and government public events and celebrations. The Director will report to the Regional Director and manage Policy and Partnerships program staff.

Responsibilities include:

• Building and managing diverse stakeholder relationships
• Overseeing key government relationships and programming
• Managing Policy and Partnerships program staff
• Ensuring the creation of governance committees
• Weekly and monthly reporting to the government

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree with superior academic performance
• Over 4 years of experience in government program delivery or account management
• Experience building and managing complex relationships
• Knowledge of local, state and federal government issues related to primary education
• Problem-solving skills
