SEO & AI Specialist

Job Description

KAYAK, a leading travel search engine, is seeking an SEO & AI Specialist to optimize SEO team workflows using AI tools. The role involves collaborating with various partners to develop and implement SEO and AI strategies, driving tangible search growth across multiple domains. The SEO & AI Specialist will track industry trends and performance to identify opportunities for growth and efficiency.

Role involves:

• Planning and executing the SEO product roadmap across 36 domains in 33 countries.
• Developing generative workflows to accelerate SEO tasks like keyword research and content gap analysis.
• Coordinating efforts with the team and global organization, including Marketing, Engineering, and Product.
• Optimizing SEO product landing pages and driving product development.
• Planning and refining page templates and scalable content systems.
• Owning projects and ensuring transparent tracking and reporting of results.
• Using tools to assess opportunities, quantify performance, and analyze competitors.
• Testing and iterating on landing pages to improve user experience and search performance.
• Staying updated on AI in SEO and translating developments into actionable items.

Requirements:

• Proven track record in the SEO industry.
• Hands-on exposure to LLM or generative-AI workflows.
• Strategic understanding of large-scale SEO.
• Knowledge of the latest SEO developments, especially in AI.
• Proactive and self-starting mentality with ownership and accountability.
• Excellent English communication skills for specifications and documentation.
• Understanding of modern front-end markup (HTML and CSS).
• Product management experience.
• Excellent quantitative skills and data analysis proficiency.
• Familiarity with AI technologies and SEO tooling (Google Search Console, SEMrush, Chat GPT, Gemini).
