Operations Support Manager - NE

Job Description

ShipBob is seeking an Operations Support Manager to develop and support partner fulfillment centers. This role involves overseeing new startup functions, including project management, systems training, and equipment setup. The Operations Support Manager will build partnerships with new sites by understanding their needs and facilitating their success within ShipBob’s dashboard and suite of fulfillment services. This position reports to the Regional Director, Fulfillment Operations.Role involves:

• Helping in site selections and partner vetting.
• Consulting with partners to understand their needs and adapt launch plans.
• Serving as the first point of contact during the 60–90-day implementation phase.
• Implementing specific measures for success and setting up the dashboard and services.
• Training partner staff and reinforcing training materials.
• Troubleshooting issues and handling onboarding-related questions.
• Inspiring the use of key ShipBob features and tools.
• Ensuring partners achieve key metrics and SLAs.
• Functioning as the onsite GM during the implementation phase.
• Ensuring operational training and identifying process gaps.
• Reviewing KPIs and performance reporting.
• Managing process improvement initiatives.
• Performing operational audits and tracking performance.
• Ensuring IB activity is in good standing and Returns are processed correctly.

Requirements:

• 3-5+ years of operations leadership experience in an e-commerce fulfillment environment.
• Advanced understanding of outbound and inbound fulfillment operations.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build consensus and persuade stakeholders.
• 3+ years of experience in opening new building sites.
• Knack for teaching and ensuring adoption of ShipBob SOP’s, tools, and WMS systems.
• Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office tools, specifically Excel.
• Ability to create and read CAD drawings preferred.
• Ability to be on-site up to 90% of the time, including weekends.
• Access to a vehicle for travel needs.
