Job Description
Policy Expert is seeking a Motor Pricing - Optimisation Senior Analyst to join their Retail Price Optimisation team. This role involves developing and maintaining customer lifetime value and price sensitivity models, owning and delivering pricing optimisation processes, championing continuous improvement through advanced analytics and machine learning, and collaborating across teams to support strategic initiatives. The analyst will also support and mentor junior team members.
Role Involves:
- Developing and maintaining customer lifetime value (CLTV) and price sensitivity models.
- Owning and delivering pricing optimisation processes.
- Introducing advanced analytics techniques and machine learning approaches.
- Collaborating across teams and supporting strategic initiatives.
- Supporting and mentoring junior analysts.
Requirements:
- Experience in UK General Insurance (Motor and/or Home).
- Understanding of pricing principles and regulatory governance.
- Commercially minded and insight-driven.
- Hands-on experience with statistical modelling.
- Programming proficiency (e.g., Python, R, SQL, Git).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder skills.
- Strong organisational skills.
