Job Description

Tide is seeking a Product Design Manager to join their team in Hyderabad, India. The Product Design Manager will collaborate with Product Managers, Technical Owners, and senior stakeholders to define strategic objectives and goals. They will identify and prioritize product roadmap initiatives, de-risk initiatives through research and collaboration, and define success metrics.

The Product Design Manager will drive the implementation of strategic initiatives, deliver validated outcomes, partner with Product Engineering, and monitor customer impact. They will also champion Design practices, promote Design thinking, and showcase the team's achievements.

The Product Design Manager will lead and mentor a team of Product Designers, create a high-performing team, provide career development, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Role involves:

  • Identifying and prioritizing product roadmap initiatives
  • De-risking initiatives through research and collaboration
  • Defining success metrics
  • Driving the implementation of strategic initiatives
  • Championing Design practices
  • Leading and mentoring a team of Product Designers

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in UX Design or Product Design
  • Experience in a SaaS company
  • In-depth knowledge of Product Design methodologies
  • Ability to simplify objectives and projects
  • Proficiency in leading design reviews and using design tools like Figma
  • Experience in user testing and research methodologies
  • Experience working in an agile scale-up environment
  • Data-driven approach with experience using tools like Looker, Heap, GA, Hotjar
