NewGlobe is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join their software development team in Lagos. The Engineer will collaborate with team members and business stakeholders to define acceptance criteria for software development projects. The engineer will report to one of software development team leads

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with team members and business stakeholders to define acceptance criteria.
  • Create and execute testing plans.
  • Advocate for a culture of automation and repeatability.
  • Help resolve automated testing issues.
  • Deliver and manage automated testing tools.
  • Integrate automated testing tools into build pipelines.
  • Participate in the design, rollout, and use of monitoring tools.
  • Devise approaches for validating and monitoring off-the-shelf and third-party software.
  • Provide third-line technical support to in-house users.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with excellent academic performance
  • 4+ years overall commercial software experience at the enterprise level
  • Experience with different testing tools and patterns
  • Comfort with both Windows and Linux/Ubuntu
  • A desire to learn new tech stacks and frameworks
