Supply Chain Specialist

Job Description

Pure Storage is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to support the daily operations of their supply chain team. The Supply Chain Specialist will be responsible for performing administrative, logistical, and coordination tasks related to procurement, inventory, order tracking, shipping, and supplier communication. This role ensures the smooth flow of materials and information across departments, helping to meet production and customer delivery targets efficiently. Responsibilities:

• Assist in tracking purchase orders, delivery timelines, and supplier shipments.
• Update and maintain inventory records and databases to ensure accuracy.
• Support procurement by gathering quotes, preparing purchase requisitions, and following up with suppliers.
• Monitor stock levels and notify the team of low or critical inventory.
• Coordinate with logistics providers to schedule shipments and deliveries.
• Help prepare shipping documents, invoices, and customs paperwork as needed.
• Communicate with internal departments (production, warehouse, sales) to ensure timely material availability.
• Maintain accurate and organized supply chain documentation and filing systems.
• Assist in resolving order discrepancies, delivery delays, or product quality issues.
• Support supply chain reporting and data entry using ERP or inventory management systems.
• Perform other administrative and support tasks as assigned by the supply chain team.

Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of experience in a supply chain, logistics, or administrative role preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word, and Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
