Job Description
Zscaler, a leading cloud security company, is seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Development Engineer (Automation) to ensure world-class quality in delivering a multi-tenant, scalable, and secure SaaS platform built on microservices architecture. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Software Engineering.Responsibilities:
  • Leading and executing testing phases while developing test strategies, plans, and cases from requirements
  • Designing and optimizing scalable automated test suites integrated into CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployments
  • Working with cross-functional teams to set quality objectives, acceptance criteria, and drive continuous improvement
  • Identifying and resolving complex issues with root cause analysis and effective solutions
  • Staying updated on QA tools and methodologies to implement best practices
Requirements:
  • Expert in functional testing, quality assurance, and test automation for API, databases, and UI using frameworks like Playwright, PyTest, or Selenium
  • Proficient in Python, JavaScript, or Java, with experience in both SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Skilled in public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes
  • Strong understanding of microservices, APIs, and RESTful services
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator within agile team environments
