Spanish Speaking Behavior Technician

Job Description

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join their team as Spanish Speaking Behavior Technicians in Tucson, Arizona. In this role, the Behavior Technician will work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). They will utilize evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.Role involves:

• Implementing individualized behavior intervention plans
• Teaching communication, social, and daily living skills
• Reducing interfering behaviors

Requirements:

• Passionate about helping children with autism
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squad, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Bilingual in Spanish
