Spanish Speaking Center-Based Behavior Technician

Job Description

Centria Autism is seeking a Spanish Speaking Center-Based Behavior Technician to join their team in Mesa, Arizona. The Behavior Technician will work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and their families.Responsibilities include:

• Implementing individualized behavior intervention plans
• Teaching communication, social, and daily living skills
• Reducing interfering behaviors
• Using evidence-based techniques
• Working collaboratively in a team environment

Requirements:

• Passionate about helping children with autism
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squad, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Bilingual in Spanish
