Job Description
TripArc, a $750 million privately held company, is seeking a QA Analyst to enhance their Support team. The ideal candidate will develop and execute manual tests for the platform, playing a crucial role in supporting the release schedule. This position requires strong troubleshooting, investigation, and communication skills.TripArc offers flexibility with daytime working hours, operating on Eastern Standard Time (EST) with core hours from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm EST, but open to start times between 6:00 am and 9:00 am PST.Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Developers to understand requirements and define test plans.
  • Plan, prioritize, and estimate QA activities.
  • Report bugs in Jira with clear steps to reproduce.
  • Create and execute comprehensive test cases and plans.
  • Continuously review and improve QA documentation.
  • Conduct API testing using Postman, leveraging pre-request scripts.
  • Utilize SQL queries to retrieve and analyze data.
  • Execute existing automated tests using Selenium WebDriver/Java.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
  • Strong knowledge of Software QA methodologies and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with black box testing.
  • Experience in writing clear and comprehensive test cases and plans.
  • Proficiency in API testing using Postman, including pre-request script creation.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for quality and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
