DevOps Engineer II

Job Description

G-P, a leading SaaS-based Global Growth Platform, is seeking a DevOps Engineer II to join their remote-first team in the US. The ideal candidate will be a technical expert in cloud solutions, focusing on AWS and other public cloud providers. This role is pivotal in enhancing the developer experience and accelerating the adoption of best engineering practices across multiple platform and product teams.He/She will be responsible for:

• Being a technical expert in cloud solutions and frameworks.
• Contributing to the Cloud Engineering team.
• Accelerating the adoption of engineering practices.
• Building Paved Paths or Spotify-style Golden Paths.
• Creating reference architectures and infrastructure code.
• Delivering proof of concepts and reusable accelerators.
• Collaborating with various engineering roles.
• Promoting DevOps practices.
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining automation for cloud infrastructure.
• Implementing, configuring, and operating tools in the DevOps and DevSecOps Toolchain.

The ideal candidate should possess:

• 5-10 years of experience in cloud, DevOps, and developer experience roles.
• Strong experience with AWS.
• Experience in building and operating complex CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in developing Infra as Code constructs using Terraform.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, and/or JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience in creating and maintaining developer experience tooling.
• Experience in CD strategies and AB experimentation.
• Experience in developing large-scale distributed systems (preferable).
