Job Description
Markforged, a company focused on reinventing the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Senior Manager of Product Management. This role is based in Waltham, MA, and operates on a hybrid model, requiring four days per week in the office. The Senior Manager will play a crucial role in executing and influencing the product roadmap, working cross-functionally to deliver best-in-class products, contributing to long-term strategy, and identifying breakthrough opportunities.

The role involves:
  • Shaping and executing the product roadmap across hardware, software, and materials.
  • Identifying and validating disruptive product opportunities.
  • Leading customer interviews, market research, and competitive analysis.
  • Building financial models to size market opportunities and evaluate ROI.
  • Partnering with various teams to ensure successful product launches and strong product-market fit.
  • Advocating for user needs and iterating based on feedback and performance metrics.
  • Defining success criteria and tracking KPIs to inform future development.
  • Building and nurturing a high-performance product management team.

Requirements include:
  • 8-10+ years in product management, with 2+ years of people management experience.
  • Experience with product management of complex electromechanical hardware and/or full-stack systems.
  • Experience delivering products in industrial or B2B settings preferred.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Materials Science, etc.) is strongly preferred.
  • MBA or equivalent business experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated success in identifying and championing innovative solutions.
  • Technical fluency and business acumen.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset and results-driven approach.
