Markforged is seeking a Strategic Account Manager to drive direct-led business growth by generating new revenue streams from new clients. The Strategic Account Manager will develop their own sales pipeline, craft strategic business transformation proposals, nurture strategic partnerships, and close large deals at the CxO level. This role requires an experienced, dynamic, and results-driven individual who can excel in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities: - Proactively identify new business opportunities and potential clients.
- Develop a sustainable sales pipeline through outbound initiatives.
- Research, draft, and present business transformational proposals.
- Build and maintain relationships with strategic partners.
- Qualify prospects and move opportunities through the sales pipeline.
- Articulate and share Industry 4.0 insights.
Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Significant experience in a business development role.
- Experience in direct sales to C-level executives.
- Past experience in high tech sales.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of the design and manufacturing industry trends.
- Excellent communication skills.
