Job Description
Tebra is seeking a Software Engineer II to join their team. In this role, the engineer will work on a cross-functional team to solve real-world problems for healthcare providers. They will design, build, test, and improve features that enable customers to effectively run their business and provide patient care.
The role involves:
- Designing and building data-driven software.
- Serving as a Subject Matter Expert in one or more areas of the software.
- Translating customer requirements into software designs.
- Designing and implementing robust software APIs.
- Performing code reviews.
- Identifying opportunities to improve software reuse and scalability.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of software development experience using Java and Spring/Spring Boot.
- Willingness to challenge the status quo.
- Detail-oriented.
- Ability to independently own and develop areas of code within the Tebra software platform.
- Ability to break down complex problems into small incremental blocks of work.
- Ability to build software that is reusable, scalable, and maintainable.
- Ability to accurately estimate small to medium-sized tasks.
- Keen eye for existing and emerging technologies that could align with business needs.
