Job Description
Twilio is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to join their Segment product team. This role involves partnering with Account Executives to execute pre-sales activities, becoming an expert builder and evangelist of Segment’s products, and leading technical evaluations with prospects. The Senior Solutions Engineer will also act as a trusted advisor to consult with customers and prospects, build a perspective on customer and market trends, and advocate for customer interests.

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Account Executives to execute pre-sales activities.
  • Become an expert builder and evangelist of Segment’s products and partner ecosystem.
  • Lead technical evaluations with prospects.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to consult with customers and prospects.
  • Build a perspective on customer and market trends.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of success in a solutions engineering (presales) role with 6+ years of progressive professional experience supporting technical products.
  • Located in EST, CT or MT time zones.
  • Curiosity for understanding technology.
  • Passionate commitment to closing deals.
  • Customer-focused problem solver.
  • Life-long learner.
  • Organized and driven.
  • Experience with Data Engineering, Cloud Data Warehouses, Data Modeling, and APIs.
  • Experience with marketing technology.
