Job Description
AG1 is seeking a Senior Manager of Contract Manufacturing to oversee the selection, qualification, and management of manufacturing procedures in third-party facilities. This role ensures products are made to the highest standards and identifies opportunities for process improvement. The Senior Manager will work closely with global and cross-functional teams to qualify new facilities and support existing manufacturing partners.
Responsibilities include:
- Identifying, evaluating, and onboarding third-party manufacturing partners across the EU.
- Implementing root cause analysis and ensuring quality standards are met.
- Monitoring manufacturing plans and production schedules.
- Leading inspections and QBRs.
- Driving cost improvement initiatives and process optimizations.
- Supporting product development by coordinating operational onboarding with new vendors.
- Implementing robust mitigation and continuity plans.
- Developing, implementing, and reporting regularly on performance metrics.
Requirements:
- 5-10 years of professional experience working with third-party contract manufacturers, including experience in a leadership role.
- Experience in the Consumer Goods or wellness industry is required.
- Experience in vendor onboarding, implementation, and account management.
- In-depth knowledge of the process, systems, and methods in the blending/manufacturing process.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, organizational methodologies, and vendor relationship management.
- Willingness to travel within the EU as needed (likely once per month).
- A high level of organization & incredible attention to detail.
