Job Description

WPP is seeking an IT Support Analyst to join their Technology Operations team in Chicago. This role is crucial for providing exceptional on-site IT support to WPP employees, agencies, and clients. The IT Support Analyst will be responsible for maintaining deskside operations, standard technology services, and meeting room AV, ensuring they meet WPP standards.

The ideal candidate will build strong relationships with business users, understand their needs, and deliver tailored support. They will also champion a customer-focused approach, empowering end users to make the most of technology tools and educating them on IT services, policies, and best practices.

What this role involves:

  • Delivering on-site IT support to WPP employees, agencies, and visiting clients
  • Providing remote support to regional offices as needed
  • Maintaining deskside operations and standard technology services
  • Building strong relationships with business users
  • Educating users on IT services, policies, and best practices
  • Managing onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Resolving Level 1 and 2 incidents
  • Supporting user and office relocations
  • Managing IT asset procurement, inventory, and lifecycle

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years’ experience in IT help desk or deskside support roles
  • Strong cross-platform expertise in Windows and Mac OS
  • Working knowledge of AV technology
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Empathy and effective communication skills
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Effective time management and prioritization abilities
