Job Description
Topsort is seeking a hands-on and client-facing Sales Engineer to join their team. The Sales Engineer will play a pivotal role in translating real-world business needs into powerful, scalable product solutions. He will collaborate directly with sales, product, and engineering teams to support pre-sales conversations and lead technical implementations with Topsort. Role involves:
  • Owning technical discovery by partnering with Account Executives to uncover prospect needs and identify technical requirements.
  • Delivering tailored demos that highlight key use cases and platform capabilities.
  • Building trust with stakeholders by acting as a consultative technical expert during the sales process.
  • Designing high-level architectures and integration strategies.
  • Handling technical objections and supporting RFPs & Security Reviews.
  • Collaborating internally to relay field insights to product and engineering teams.
  • Continuously learning about the product, integrations, and industry trends.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in a technical pre-sales, solution engineering, or implementation role.
  • Strong familiarity with APIs, system integrations, and web technologies.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex technical ideas clearly.
  • Demonstrated success working directly with enterprise clients.
  • A pragmatic, customer-first mindset.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and making decisions with incomplete information.
  • Clear sense of ownership.
  • Experience collaborating with product and engineering teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree and above in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
