Senior IT DevOps Engineer

Job Description

Gong is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of their cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's cloud strategy, driving innovation, and ensuring secure, scalable, and cost-effective solutions. This role involves cross-functional collaboration with teams like R&D, Security, and Business Intelligence to integrate DevOps best practices.Responsibilities include:

• Leading the design and implementation of cloud infrastructure.
• Automating and streamlining operations and processes.
• Collaborating with stakeholders across R&D, Security, and Business Intelligence.
• Shaping the company’s cloud strategy.

Requirements include:

• 6+ years as a DevOps Engineer, with AWS experience preferred.
• Strong scripting and automation skills (Python and bash).
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
• Hands-on experience with GitOps and CI/CD methodologies and tools (ArgoCD, Argo Workflows, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Proven experience with Kubernetes (K8s) in production environments.
• Deep proficiency in Linux environments (RHEL and Debian-based).
• Solid understanding of computer networking fundamentals and cloud security concepts.
• Excellent communication skills.
