Job Description
Labelbox is seeking an IT Specialist to support its internal systems and contribute to the growth and security of the company's IT infrastructure. The IT Specialist will be the first point of contact for Labelbox employees needing assistance with IT-related issues. This role requires a strong technical aptitude, customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment. The IT Specialist will work closely with various teams, including Legal, HR, Finance, Engineering, and DevOps, to facilitate cross-functional projects and improve internal processes.

Role Involves:
  • Providing hardware and software support via Jira ticketing system.
  • Administering user lifecycle management systems (Okta SSO and Google Workspace).
  • Building systems and infrastructure for expanding teams and office spaces.
  • Ensuring efficient and secure IT onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Administering a wide range of SaaS platforms.
  • Implementing continuous improvement to the InfoSec program.
  • Responding to and remediating security concerns via anti-virus monitoring.
  • Providing in-person IT support for the San Francisco headquarters.

Requirements:
  • 3-6 years of experience in IT support or a similar customer-facing role.
  • Strong experience with IAM solutions, particularly Okta.
  • Experience with mobile device management and BYOD policies.
  • Experience administering Google Workspace, Slack, Okta, MDM (Jamf, Rippling), and Atlassian suite.
  • Strong security focus with a general understanding of industry best practices.
  • Experience with SOC2, HIPAA, or PCI controlled environments is preferred.
  • Comfortable working asynchronously across timezones.
